Judd Trump v Mark Selby is a repeat of the Champion of Champions final last month. Selby ran out a 10-5 winner in that but Trump will be out for revenge that’s for sure.
Trump beat Neil Robertson 6-3 yesterday afternoon after winning the last 4 frames. Selby beat Shaun Murphy by the same scoreline, closing out the match with a total clearance of 127.
Fans are now looking forward to a two-session match starting as soon after 1pm as BBC see fit, then continuing with the second session sometime just after 7pm.
If Trump wins it will be his first of the season and a 12th winner of the 12 tournaments this season. A strange stat indeed!
