The WPBSA announced the dates for the 2025/26 Q Tour – after it was discovered some people already knew the dates!

Alongside the dates, the announcement heralded a new points based ranking system to replace the former money-based system.
However, the WPBSA appear to have forgotten to include details of the new ranking points schedule with the entry pack, despite the conditions of entry stating it is there.
The announcement also included a quote for WPBSA Jason Ferguson who said
“As we move forward, we plan to make further improvements so that WPBSA can establish a truly global secondary tour for our sport. These changes are only the beginning!”
Mistakes made by the WPBSA are many and various and this goes hand in hand with the truly shocking way that the World Snooker Tour is run.
21/07/25 – Update
I received an email from WPBSA with the details of the points schedule. I replied to say thanks and to ask if the schedule will eventually be included in the entry pack, as it wasn’t at that time.
