The 2026 English Under-21 Snooker Championship takes place this weekend (21-22 February) at the Landywood Snooker Club.
The event, which was won last year by current World Snooker Tour (WST) professional Liam Pullen, features an incredible 66 players – a 100% increase on the 2024 edition of the Championship, as well as a prize fund which has more than doubled since last year.
The championship is groups, followed by knockout. The format is as follows:
- Group stage matches will be the best of 5 frames
- KO matches up to and including the semi-finals will be the best of 7 frames
- The final will be the best of 9 frames
It is planned that the last eight will contest the Sunday, with the final scheduled for late afternoon.
