It might be quiet on the professional front, but not so for the amateurs.

Thursday sees the regular pro-am at the Northern Snooker Centre, the weekly handicap at Bolton Snooker Centre and the start of the under 18s comp, the MIUS cup at South West Snooker Academy.

Back to the Northern for the start of the Home Internationals on Friday before a very busy weekend.

On Saturday the Home Internationals continues, as does the MIUS cup and we have the regular Saturday comps at St Michael’s, Chandlers Ford and Legends.

Spanning the weekend there is the Snooker Legends pro-am at the Crucible in Newbury featuring world champions Mark Selby and Reanne Evans.

Completing the weekend is the Charity event at Q’s Sports Bar in Manchester, supporting the efforts to raise funds for a very worthy cause.

The Home Internationals and MIUS Cup continue into next week.

All in all a very busy weekend indeed!
