Litetask pro-am series details

Litetask in association with Northern Snooker Centre present:-


This will be a six tournament event with grand finals for all snooker professionals and amateurs with over £12,000 in prize money for the series guaranteed.

The series will be held on the following dates at the Northern Snooker Centre:-

30th October
20th November
4th December
15th January
19th February
12th March

The entry fee for each event above is £15.

The prize money per event will be:-

Winner £1,000
Runner Up £400
Losing Semi Finalists £200
Losing Quarter Finalists £50

A ranking ladder will be used to determine which players go through to the finals. The points system is as follows:-

Winner = 300
Runner up = 220
Semi Final = 160
Quarter Final = 120
L16 = 80
L32 = 40
L64 = 20
L128 = 10

The matches will all be best of five frames and all non professional tour players will receive 18 points start per frame.

The top 16 players on the ranking list will go forward to a finals day on the 7th May for which the prize money will be:-

Winner £2,000
Runner Up £1,000
Losing Semi Finalists £500
Losing Quarter Finalists £250

There will also be an event on the 2nd April for the top 16 non current tour professionals for which the prize money will be:-

Winner Q School Entry Fee + £250
Runner Up Q School Entry Fee

There is no cash alternative to the Q School Entry Fee. This will be paid directly to World Snooker for the players.

There is no dress code for the qualifiying events but for the final days shoes, trousers and shirt/polo shirt must be worn.

The events require registration before 10am on the day, no exceptions will be given after this time. The draw for the days play will then commence.

All rounds on the finals days will be best of 7 matches and the final itself will be best of 9. Any amateur that reaches the finals day on the 7th May will still receive their 18 point start per frame.
