Gadgets and gizmos abound in the world of snooker!
Have a read of this.
I like the idea and I will be trying it out as soon as I can.
If you have any thoughts, please do say so.
My name is Eladio Díaz Camblor. I’m from Spain and I’m an enthusiastic — though admittedly very modest — amateur snooker player. (When I say modest, I truly mean it!)
For many years I worked as a mathematics teacher, and my fascination with the geometry behind cue sports eventually led me to create a simple and practical training aid for snooker and pool players.
I call it — somewhat playfully — “Hurry Potter.”
It is a small, low-cost, easy-to-use visual device designed to help players better understand the geometry of potting balls and improve their alignment during practice.
To explain how it works, I wrote a short and light-hearted PDF booklet titled “Hurry Potter and the Magic of Snooker and Pool.”
The work is published under a Creative Commons license, meaning it is completely free to download and share for non-commercial purposes.
