This weekend sees the first fixture in the 2016/17 EASB calendar, in the form of Eventof the Premier Junior Tour. There’s not much better place to start either than the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.

The names involved in this tour are some you will see turn pro eventually I’m sure; the likes of Brandon Sargeant, Peter Devlin, Richard Haney to name but a few.
If you are in the area why not call in and have a look?
Another high quality event for the juniors is the start of the Under 18 Ranking Series at the SWSA. Billed as “…bringing young players together for match practice on STAR tables, helping to bridge the gap between Q-School & the Main Tour”.

There are the other regular weekend competitions up and down the country as well and with many winter leagues starting or about to start, there are opportunities for just about everyone to get involved.
