Just 8 results on a long day with 2 more amateurs bowing out and 1 going through to Round 3.
Michael Georgiou and Ross Muir were the 2 amateurs who fell at round 2.
Muir will be on tour next season though courtesy of his win at the recent European Championships.
Georgiou will have to go to Q School if he wants to try to get on the tour again.
Andrew Higginson however, had a great result against Louis Heathcote who will face the madness of Q School again if he wants to bounce back onto the tour.
Despite Heathcote recording 4 tons, Higginson was the most consistent with 7 breaks of 50+ in his 10-7 win which earn him a round 3 tie against Joe O’Connor.
