The English Partnership of Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) will be coming to Woking Snooker Centre next month as the Surrey based club hosts an under-14 final qualifier to decide the National Finals in June from the south region.
Six events in both the north and the south have been hosted prior to this as Woking Snooker Centre has been chosen due to its centrality of location in the south to host the final under-14 qualifier on Saturday 5th March at 10:30AM.
The object of these junior events is to offer youngsters competitive and enjoyable events while nurturing talent.
The EPSB site reads:
“A total of 28 qualifying players will take part in Stage Two.
These will comprise of the winners and runners-up from each club event, with an additional two wild card entries from the most entered Stage One event – Waterlooville Sports Bar having significantly more participants than the other events.”

The new event to be played at Woking comes as last year, Woking held its first Under-21 Cuestars event since 2016, which turned out to be a successful return to junior tournament snooker at Woking Snooker Centre.
The club boasts 20 tables, 16 of which have been re-clothed with tables 11 and 20 having just been re-clothed. Two tables have been re-clothed twice!
Club Manager Peter Ruddick said he was looking forward to hosting another event at the club and has been working hard to continue to make huge improvements to the facilities.
He said that Woking was chosen partly due to its centrality for snooker in the south.
Woking now also boasts having a talented female snooker player Jasmine Bolsover, 22, who has recently just graduated from the University of Oxford Brookes in Event Management, and who will be playing in the World Women’s Snooker Championship this month at the prestigious Ding Junhui Academy in Sheffield, the home of snooker in the UK.
She said: “It should be a great experience and I’m looking forward to it.”
Jasmine also works part-time at the club.
Her appearance in the main event on the women’s snooker calendar will come off the back of her reaching an EPSB Women’s Event final in Event Five.
