Representatives from Woking Snooker Centre attended the first United Kingdom Snooker Association (UKSA) conference held in Sheffield this week.
Club Manager Peter Ruddick was there alongside resident coach Brian Cox for the inaugural event hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sheffield.
The event was presented by SightRight’s Stephen Feeney, whose aim is to give amateur snooker a boost by linking amateur clubs, players, coaches and leagues and training players, particularly juniors, up using the SightRight methodology.
The conference included a tour of the famous Ding Junhui Academy, which will be the home of the UKSA Academy in England, plus meeting some of the top professional players such as the recently crowned Championship League champion David Gilbert, winner of his first ranking event – and one of the many professionals under Stephen Feeney and SightRight.
