Woking Snooker Centre in Surrey for the first time in its 34 years in operation has now gone digital with its first ever digital scoreboard.

After erecting 20 new Led energy efficient lights Club Manager Peter Ruddick has turned his attention to ensuring players continue to experience the best possible conditions for club snooker at Woking.

The new scoreboard has been placed underneath the old fashioned manual scoreboard on the match table, table one, where league matches, Cuestars finals and other key matches have been played.

Players can also now enjoy playing on table 1 from the first round of the Saturday handicap tournament which is now proving popular with players coming from different clubs to try their luck in the one day weekend event.

Plans are for more digital scoreboards to be fitted in future.

Pop down to Woking and enjoy the new and improving facilities on offer and maybe you’ll even get to try out the digital scoreboard on table 1!
