Woking C Leap to second in Byfleet Snooker League

Woking Snooker Centre hosted its first League home matches in years on Thursday last week as the new addition Woking C team claimed their first win of the new League season. 

The home teams of Woking A,B, C played hosts as Woking C’s team, led by Ivan Astin, thrashed Egham United Services A 6 – 0. 

The comprehensive win from Woking C saw them leap up the table into second position, after a nervy first match the week before where they lost 4 – 2 bu are now just one point below New Haw Social C. 

Astin, 30, buzzing from the win, said it was a tough call deciding which two players would play just one frame, but in the end, all four players won their frames comfortably, 

Woking C consists of Ivan Astin, Peter Butler, Ivan Monchukoushvy, and Adam Hill.
