Saturday morning sees the return of the very popular junior snooker club at The Castle in Brighton.

Run by WPBSA coach Kai Michael, the club gets on average 15 participants per week.

As the World Snooker Championship Qualifiers gets underway, could a future World Champion be starting their journey to the Crucible?

When things get back to normal, the Brighton Castle Juniors also take part in the “Junior Inter League” with Frames, Gone2Pot and Glastonbury Snooker Club.

It is the first ever under-18 inter league competition in the south-east and they are looking to expand to include more junior clubs from different areas.

This is the perfect way to get proper match experience and build confidence in competitive play. It also gives the youngsters something to focus their energies on as they learn this fantastic game.
