After the completion of this weekends Northwest Trophy & Robbie McGuigan’s successful defence it is the Antrim youngster who remains number one by quite the distance.
Into second is Ryan McQuillan who continues to climb after an excellent start to the season.
Patrick Wallace slips to third after his quarter final exit. Fergal Quinn’s semi final run see’s him jump one place to fifth. Colin Anderson’s excellent run to the final see’s the Ballymena man move from seventh to fifth. Declan Lavery slips to sixth whilst Sean Gray drops one place from sixth to seventh.
Brian Milne & Rab McCullough both moved in a positive direction with Milne up from ninth to eighth whilst McCullough rises two places from eleventh to ninth.
Raymond Fry drops two places to tenth & Dermot McGlinchey drops one place from tenth to eleventh.
Darren Dornan & Alastair Wilson remain unchanged in twelfth & thirteenth respectively, Joel Connolly & Anto Heaney climb one place each with Joel upto number fourteen & Anto fifteen & making up the top sixteen is Jamie Gardiner after his run to the last 16.
Outside the top sixteen there was not too much major movement owing to all top sixteen seeds reaching the last sixteen in this week’s tournament.
With just two events to go before selection for the EBSA championships in Malta there is still quite a few points up for grabs with the first of those events the Players Championship event in the Pot Black Snooker Club, Cookstown in just under a months time.
