Woking Snooker Centre has entered 3 teams in the Byfleet League for the 2021/22 season.
There will be 2 teams playing in the Premier Division, Woking A and Woking B, while Woking C are playing in Division 2.
The league began on Thursday 23 September but both Woking A and Woking B had a bye so will begin their campaigns next week.
Woking A will be at home to Sunninghill Comrades B and Woking B will be away to Staines Con A.
Woking C started their campaign on Thursday with a trip to Staines Con D but lost 4-2.
Ivan Astin, the Captain of Woking C, said:
“Very proud of my guys tonight. Yes, we lost 4 – 2, but it’s our first week in league snooker away from home. We walk away knowing we’re better players and we win another day. But we all suffered from first week nerves. Very happy to have Adam, Pete and Ivan on this journey.
I still back us to be in contention near the end of the season.”
