The first of five, two-day events on the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) English Seniors Tour 2023/24 takes place at Tradewell Snooker Club in Hull this weekend.

There is a fantastic entry of 62 players in the Over 40s event and this is despite claims by many that too many EPSB events are “up North”.
