Women’s World Championship – 11-17 March
Currently taking place in Dongguan, China and available to watch on the WWS Facebook Page and WPBSA YouTube Channel.
One for the early risers though as they are of course 8 hours in front of the UK!
My prediction is for Bai Yulu to go one better this year and win the event. She will also then have a place on the WST where she could well be the first woman to make a proper impression.

EBSA – European Championships – 11-23 March

For some bizarre reason the event is called the “European U16, U18, U21 & Men Snooker Championships” and even EBSA has had to qualify that with their Facebook cover picture saying “All Championships are Mixed Gender”. Figure that out if you can!

UPC Snooker Championships – 14-17 March
Taking place at Woking Snooker Centre and supported by snookerz.co.uk “The finest student players from all parts of the UK will convene over the weekend of 14th to 17th March 2024 to compete in both team and individual competitions on behalf of their universities.”
