As reported on the Welsh Snooker website, the final of the Welsh Amateur Championship is to be delayed.
Following a positive COVID test, only one of the planned semi finals can take place this weekend, therefore meaning that the second semi final and the final must unavoidably be delayed.
The semi final between Dylan Emery and Elfed Evans will take place as planned on Saturday at midday.
The date of the other semi final and of the final will be published when decided.

The plan was for the two semi finals, the other being between Paul Davies v Darren Morgan, to be played on Saturday and then the final to be played on Sunday.
We of course wish the player a speedy recovery and hope that he returns fit and well to compete for the title.
