Straight from his success in the first Welsh Under 21 Ranking Event of the new season, Dylan Emery beats Gao Yang in the first round of the British Open.
According to snooker.org:
“Emery replaced Jamie O’Neill who was suspended from the event because of digressing from Covid policies”
We only found out that O’Neil had been suspended when Dave Hendon announced it on his Snooker Scene podcast.
Dylan will now be in the hat for the random draw for the second round.
