The first Welsh Ranking Events of the new season will be played this Sunday (August 15).

The northern qualifier will be played at Amlwch Snooker Club and the southern qualifier at Trecenydd Snooker Club.

The final is scheduled for 22 August at the Red Triangle, Cross Keys.

It’s possible that there may be some live coverage on the Welsh Snooker Facebook page but that remains to be confirmed.

Who’s playing?



Entry cut off is midnight tonight and at the time of writing there are 21 entries for the north and 54 for the south.

The ranking points system has been revised for this season. Points will now be allocated as follows –




The Welsh Billiards and Snooker Association (WBSA) is the national governing body for Billiards and Snooker in Wales.
