The news regarding Q Tour is that there is no news – yet!
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) have committed to running the Q Tour but, understandably, this isn’t a practical possibility at the moment.

The new Q Tour, as described back in July, was welcomed by most and will replace the much maligned Challenge Tour.

So, all we can do at the moment is wait and see what October brings and pray the situation eases.
