NEIL Jefferis has tasted success on the Cuestars snooker circuit for the first time since April, 2023.

The Kent cueman pocketed £100 in prize money after beating rankings leader Paul Davis 2-1 in the final of the fifth leg of the Seniors (40+) Tour at Jesters Snooker Club, Swindon.
Jefferis, from East Malling and based at The Ightham Club, is the fifth different event winner this season.
Wareham-based Davis, who has appeared in four of this season’s five finals, has a 24-point lead over Matt Callow at the top of the rankings as he bids to regain the title he won in the 2023/24 campaign.
Jefferis moved up to fourth place following the event sponsored by Swindon-based ice cream firm Chez’s Ices.
Richard Swaffield, who made the day’s highest break of 63 in his quarter-final victory over Mark Thomas, had a good run to the semi-finals in his first Cuestars competition for nearly ten years.
The 53-year-old from Salisbury was last seen losing 2-1 to Matt Ford in a Seniors Tour final at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club in February, 2016.
Organisers thanked the team at Jesters for looking after them.
