A quick look at some of the highlights from the weekend
Despite the weather playing havoc with the fixtures, some events did still take place. And big events they were too!
Ben Woollaston hosted an event at Breakers where the prize for the winner was for their Q School entry to be paid. As the entry fee has gone back up to £1000, not surprisingly this event proved to be very popular. Luke Simmonds ran out the winner.There was a big pro-am at the Castle in Brighton where there was £2000 up for the winner. Mark Davis took the honours. Clayton Humphries, John Welsh, Anthony Jeffers and Jamie Jones have booked their places for the finals day on 18 March at the George Scott Snooker Club, “Scotties”.

There were of course, other events all over the country, as there is every weekend.The standard of play throughout the whole tournament has been incredibly high, and today continued to live up to all the hype. Some terrific matches on show! Clayton too stole the leading high break chase with a fabulous 133 clearance.
