The 2021 European Snooker Championships start today with the Under 18s the first in action


There’s 9 events running to the 17th October with World Snooker Tour places to be won for the winners of the Under 21s and the “Mens/Mixed” events.

Events Calendar

U18’s: 2nd to 4th October 2021

The Last 32 stage is a knockout, following on from Saturday’s group stages. The semi-finals and the final will be played on Monday.

Julien Leclercq v Bulcsú Révész

It’s an all Belgium final featuring Ben Mertens v Julien Leclercq

Ben Mertens wins a to-and-fro match on the deciding frame.

U21’s : 4th to 7th October 2021

The group stages are played over Monday and Tuesday with the knockout due to start on Tuesday evening. The knockout continues on Wednesday with the semi-finals and final being played on Thursday.

6 Reds : (Knock-Out) 7th October 2021

Men/Mixed : 8th to 12th October 2021

The semi-finals feature 3 UK representatives -Sean O’Sullivan and Oliver Brown of England join Darren Morgan of Wales. Ivan Kakovskii of Russia makes up the four.

Oliver will be invited to join the World Snooker Tour for 2 seasons starting next season.

Seniors : 11th to 15th October 2021

The final of the Seniors features Darren Morgan of Wales and Frank Sarsfield of Ireland. The match is on Table 1 and is being shown on the live stream.


Women : 12th to 15th October 2021

England’s Jamie Hunter, in her European debut, has reached the final and will play Wendy Jans of Belgium. The match is scheduled for Table 1 on the live stream at 1pm today.


Teams : 14th to 17th October 2021

All the scoring is available on the EBSA website and often there is live-streaming.
