Following the successful completion of the qualifying rounds for the UK Seniors Championship, the World Seniors Championship kicks off this weekend.

The first of 8 qualifiers is at The Crucible Sports & Social Club in Newbury and as a special treat for all entrants, they each receive a piece of the revolutionary Taom Chalk. If you fancy a free piece of this chalk, and a shot at qualifying to take on a “legend” at the finals in March, “dare to dream” and get your entry in before Friday 13 October for Q2 at the Terry Griffiths Matchroom in Llanelli.

The 8 qualifiers will take on the likes of Stephen Hendry and the eventual winner will line up at Ponds Forge to try for a place in the World Championships! That surely would be a dream come true for some.

There is also a prize of a Kia Sportage, courtesy of Victor Wood Kia (Grantham), for anyone making a 147 break in the final stage events. A prize worth over £30,000 and worthy of any top professional event.

Launch dinners will be held the day before the first days play at all events, Golf days will be held at the UK, Worlds and Seniors Masters.

Full details of how to enter and where the qualifiers are being held can be found on the snooker legends website
