Despite heroic efforts by both Peter Lines and Reanne Evans, neither could make it through to judgement day.
Peter Lines was 6-5 up on Gary Wilson but Wilson hit three tons in the next four frames to go 9-6 ahead. Lines took another frame but couldn’t do any more and Wilson ran out the winner 10-7
Reanne Evans began the final session 6-1 down but started off showing she meant business by taking the first frame. Despite trading frames with Lee Walker and moving to only 3 frames behind, Evans finally bowed out at 10-6.
Peter Lines will be back in action at Pond Forge in the EBSA play offs tomorrow where he will be trying to regain his pro status.
