The first 8 winners and losers were decided yesterday at the start of the World Championship qualifiers at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

Although Stan Moody, Martin O’Donnell, and Danielle Wells are marked as (a) for amateur, they will be on the World Snooker Tour next year.

Moody won the World Snooker Federation Junior Championship, O’Donnell won the Q Tour and Wells is all but certain to make it via the one-year list.

Haydon Pinhey however will need to reach the Crucible to earn a place on the tour.

Dean Young will have to go back to Q School as will Marco Fu! Unless he gets an invitational card again?
