He’s Back! After 25 years the Great WT, Willie Thorne will be back in Goffs to battle it out for the Alex Higgins Trophy at the World Seniors Irish Masters. The event from the 4-6th Jan 2019 will see Willie join a line up that includes Jimmy White and Ken Doherty.
Willie, who reached the final in his first two appearances in Kildare said
“What a thrill to be going back to Goffs. I got to the final in 85 and 86 losing to Jimmy and Davis. Some great memories and one of my favourite venues. I remember Ken Doherty selling programmes as a young boy as well!!”
