First held in 1982, the UK Women’s Championship returns this weekend for its 33rd staging, with only the World Championship having been held more frequently during the 40-year history of the World Women’s Snooker Tour.

The Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds is the setting for the return of the World Women’s Snooker Tour and what promises to be a fantastic weekend of snooker.

There are 36 players taking part with the top 2, Reanne Evans and Rebecca Kenna, being seeded through to the last-16 knockout stage.

The rest are divided into seven round-robin groups with the top 2 from each group joining the seeds.
