The World Championship qualifiers are in full flow over at the EIS in Sheffield where the top two Women Ng On Yee and Reanne Evans are in action. However, many eyes will be on the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds which is the setting for the Festival of Women’s Snooker 2019 starting on Friday 12 April

The world women’s number one ranking could change hands for the first time in over a year depending on results, with Ng On Yee having to earn at least 2000 ranking points to stay on top.
On Yee is defending 10,000 points with Reanne Evans 8,000 points behind her. Evans is looking to reclaim the number 1 spot which On Yee earned some 14 months ago.
