
The two National Qualifying Rounds of the oldest amateur snooker competition in the world take place this weekend.
The Northern Event is at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds and the Southern Event is at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester.
The 16 players at each event have qualified from the regional events and will play down to the semi-finals. The finals of each event will be played at the EASB Finals Weekend on Day 1 (8 June) and the Final will be played on Day 2 (9 June).

Last year’s event was won by Joe O’Connor who is now making his name on the main tour.

The two qualifiers are Brandon Sargeant and Wayne Brown. Sargeant had the highest break in both sections with a run of 140
