The WPBSA World Seniors Snooker Tour is proud to announce that The Eden Dora Trust for children with Encephalitis will be its nominated charity for the 2019 Sheffield Masters which will be held at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield on Thursday 11th April 2019.

The Eden Dora Trust was established in 2014 for children with Encephalitis (Inflammation of the brain), and the life changing Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and other medical complications that follows this debilitating illness. It was founded by a mum from Sheffield after her daughter, aged 6, got Encephalitis from a simple virus and narrowly survived it – as so many other children do not.
Over 6,000 children are diagnosed with Encephalitis every year in the UK alone!

The Eden Dora Trust helps make life better and easier for children & families affected by Encephalitis through support, information and research.
On the 10th April a Champions Dinner will be held at the Kenwood Hotel and will raise funds for the Eden Dora Trust. The event will hosted by the 1980 World Snooker Champion and current World Seniors Master Cliff Thorburn and will have a truly Canadian theme. All the snooker legends playing in the Sheffield Masters will be in attendance and it’s a great curtain raiser for the main event which takes place at the home of snooker the very next day.
Tables of 8, hosted by a snooker legend are £500 and can be reserved by emailing
