On Sunday 4th March there is the first in what Dave hopes to be many events for the serious amateur and for professionals to supplement their earnings from the World Tour.

On his Facebook page Dave says “In the build up to a potential PRO-AM tour of events for serious amateurs and professionals, this will be the beginning of many events not just here but other top UK clubs. I’m looking for a sponsor, and the support of world snooker to provide bigger prize pots £4-6000 so players can make up their money from a very difficult task on the tour, also break through the amateur game. Myself and club owners will put some money into these events to begin with but a potential, suitable sponsor will benefit more…..I have 26 names already in this event, including 10 professionals, who will not lose entry fees if getting to the Welsh finals.
