Back in February this year I started a new role in London which is perhaps one of the most prestigious jobs there is in our game!

Working alongside the wonderful Katie Martyn, I look after the five vintage tables at the Royal Automobile Club’s Pall Mall clubhouse located in the heart of clubland and just off St James’s Square. I also organise their matches and coach the members.
You also might see me at the Royal Automobile Club’s other clubhouse in Epsom, Surrey where I look after the two tables and coach the members once a week at the wonderful Woodcote Park Estate that is set in 350 acres and boasting two championship 18-hole golf courses.
I am enjoying working with the members of the Club at both clubhouses and helping them to achieve their goals. For me, this is wonderfully rewarding and why I decided to go into coaching in the first place.
I am also very humbled by the great player-coaches who have done the job before me such as Kent’s Paul Sweeney, my good friend Michael Georgiou and the recently, very much in-form, Martin O’Donnell.
Please do not worry though, this is a part-time role so I will have more than enough time available for my ever-growing client list who come from all over Kent and Sussex for coaching at my base in Tunbridge Wells.
