
Insolvency specialists are seeking a buyer for Rileys Sports Bars after the pool and snooker hall chain fell into administration amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of the 21 sites have closed but it is hoped that a buyer can be found and some, if not all, of the others will reopen.
With the loss of many snooker clubs across the country, this is not good news for the future of the game. We need clubs to be providing the environment needed for youngsters especially, to learn the skills and discipline necessary to become a good snooker player.
