Latest update: From 1 July, the UK will move onto the Hong Kong SAR government’s list of “extremely high risk” places. This means that from 1 July all passenger flights from the UK will be prohibited from landing in Hong Kong and that all passengers who have visited the UK for more than two hours in the past 21 days will be denied entry to Hong Kong (‘Entry requirements’ page).
There was disappointment yesterday as it was confirmed that Ng On Yee would not be able to play in the Championship League. On Yee was due to start her professional career in a group containing Ronnie O’Sullivan. She will be replaced with amateur snooker player Saqib Nasir – the next player on the Q School Order of Merit ranking list.
Reanne Evans will start her campaign against Simon Lichtenberg of Germany on Thursday July 22.
