A message from Jason Francis –Dear All,
Firstly thank you to you all for supporting the World Seniors Tour event in Northampton , we have 74 runners which is the largest turnout so far this season and a fantastic chance to get ranking points, plus one person will join Sean Lanigan and Patrick Wallace at the European Open.
We have players in the draw from England, Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Malta, Jersey, Iceland and Cyprus.
On the draw I am trying to put in players nationality, this is work in progress so let me know if I’ve not specified yours yet and correct me if I have it wrong.
Also should a player claim they entered this event, and the system proves they did then I will randomly draw the player into another prelim match and contact the last 64 player it affects.
Please find attached the draw and format for World Seniors European Open 3 to be staged at Barratts in Northampton on Friday 7th, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September.
The top 16 who have entered on the ranking list have been placed into position.

Our host is Maccy and we will use up to 9 tables, maybe more if we feel the matches are slipping behind schedule.
We have 4 Easb referees, 2 will be used on the stream table and 2 will float.

If you are not a member of your national federation you must ensure you are by Thursday 6th September.
The format of the European Open is best of 5 with no deciding frame respot – hence the need to consider this with match start times and tables.
The format is NOT PLAYED IN NUMERICAL ORDER. This is important and you need to study it. I know we have multiple languages at this event so if in doubt email me and ask when your first match is. The Friday matches are shaded to help show you but it is your responsibility to work out when you play.
