New snooker academy for Norfolk

2 years on and now up to 5 tables all very good quality ,various teams playing out of the Academy. Pool table due in which is a Supreme Winner.
The teams have been successful in the last 2 seasons with members being involved ,proud of all of them with the level of success at all levels they have achieved.

A brand new snooker academy opens it’s doors to the public on Monday 5 March (2018)

The 3 Counties Cuesports Academy, based in King’s Lynn, is the brainchild of Steve Kirk and Richard Thorpe.

Steve and Richard are both county level players and are looking to help other players of any age group or ability while providing serious practice time for better players.

The academy is a not-for-profit venture with any money being put back in to improve facilities for players.
At the moment there are three tables with a potential for another 3.
All tables are covered with Strachan 6811 tournament cloth and have Aramith Tournament balls and the room is kept at a constant 20/21 deg C.

It has been said of playing conditions at the academy that they are “truly exceptional” and will be an asset to the thriving snooker and billiards scene in West Norfolk.

Various county events will be taking place at the academy and level 2 and 3 snooker coaches are available as well as qualified billiards coaches.It shouldn’t be too difficult to get lots of support for a venture like a brand new snooker academy, and once it gets going I’m sure it will go from strength to strength.
