Fresh from his efforts at the WST Pro Series, Michael White will now be gearing up for his first round match of the German Masters against Fergal O’Brien.

Michael won 3 of his 7 Pro Series matches, only losing the other 4 on deciding frames – on on a re-spotted black!

The three wins were really good results as well. He beat Jackson Page, Graeme Dott and Brandon Sargeant.

Although the German Masters, which is of course in Milton Keynes rather than Berlin, is said to be Round 1, it is in fact Round 3 as 2 so-called qualifying rounds have already been played. This round is the last 32.

In the first round, Michael beat Matthew Stevens and in the next round he beat Elliot Slessor.

Michael will earn at least £4000 which will help improve his position on the 1 Year Ranking List.

At the moment the qualification routes for next season’s main tour are less than clear. One thing is for sure – Michael is looking to get back to the professional ranks as soon as possible!
