After testing positive for Covid, Liang Wenbo will not be taking part in the German Masters which starts today.
Wenbo is one of the best to watch in my opinion, as he can put on a great show sometimes. I’m not a great one for statistics so I don’t know when it was, possibly World Championship qualifiers, but he almost made back-to-back 147s.
And who can forget his reaction to winning the English Open!?
Gao Yang won’t be making the trip either due to visa issues. Is this really not something WST/WPBSA should be sorting for the players?
Their opponents get byes as the qualifying rounds were already played back in October.
