Ladies’ number 1 Reanne Evans will be in action again tomorrow in the World Championship Qualifiers. Reanne took the snooker world by storm on day 1 of the qualifiers by beating Finland’s Robin Hull, world ranked 57. Even the New York Times picked up on the story.
Evans takes on Lee Walker [ranked 89] and is looking to become the first Lady to pay at snooker’s spiritual home, The Crucible.
On Yee Ng from Hong Kong, the current ladies’ World Champion was beaten by Nigel Bond in her first round match. This didn’t deter On Yee however from winning the first ever Women’s World 6 Red Championship yesterday..
