Jamie Hunter has defeated Rebecca Kenna 4-1 to lift her first world ranking event title at the US Women’s Snooker Open at Ox Billiards, Seattle.

As the World Women’s Snooker Tour makes a breakthrough with the first tour ranking event in the United States, Hunter makes her own mark with her first ranking title.

The defat for Kenna was her fifth in a ranking final and leaves her still without a ranking title to her name.

Kenna is in her first year as a professional on the World Snooker Tour and no doubt Hunter will have her sights firmly set on a tour place as well.
