Harvey Chandler wins the 2018 EBSA Men’s Snooker Championship
A very steady performance throughout a week of snooker, saw Harvey Chandler emerge victorious with the European title and a 2 year professional tour card.The 22 year old who plays a lot of his snooker at Dunstable Snooker Club (DSC) is a regular at EASB events and many more across the country. Suny Singh, the owner of DSC said on his Facebook page “He’s been going around up and down the country playing in every comp going learning his trade…”
This competitive spirit saw Chandler cruise through his group and continue in fine form through the knockout stages. In the final he went into a 5-0 lead and despite Jordan Brown of Northern Ireland attempting a fightback, Chandler went on to win by 7 frames to 2.
