Last weekend the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, hosted the National Last 16 events of the EASB Under 14s and Under 16s Championships.
Following recent regional events, where 16 players qualified on a kind of ‘proportional representation’ basis, the Last 16 event whittles the players down to the two that will face each other in the final. The finals will be played during the EASB Finals Weekend over the 9th and 10th of June at the South West Snooker Academy in Gloucester
In the Under 14s, (now read this name carefully!) Ronnie Sullivan from Coulsdon in London will face Paul Deaville who is based in Liverpool. Paul beat Aidan Murphy in the semi final or it would have been Sullivan v Murphy!
In the Under 16s, another youngster with a famous sounding surname, Ryan Davies from Royton will play Bournemouth’s Bradley Cowdroy.
