This year, for the first time, tickets on the first day of sale will be available ONLY to fans who are able to book in person at the Crucible box office.
This is in an attempt to reduce the number of tickets being sold on secondary ticket markets.
Also, season tickets and priority bookings will no longer be available.
This is a welcome move to help genuine fans get to see their favourites in the biggest tournament of them all.
