The English Amateur Championship – Last 16 – South

The most important event in the EASB calendar and the oldest amateur snooker competition in the world. It’s roll of honour reads like a who’s who of snooker nobility.
This Event is eligible for International selection. See the International Selection Criteria.
Open to all amateur snooker players who meet the eligibility criteria for an English event. There is no age restriction.
Regional Qualifying Rounds:
(National North) – North West, North East, Yorkshire, East Midlands
(National South) – West Midlands, London/South East, South West.
Players can now choose which region they enter, this is done so that you can choose the venue most convenient for you. However, if you qualify you will go into the National Event that corresponds to that Region.
You can only enter one Region, should you pick and pay for more than one, then the latter entries will be cancelled and refunded.
Minimum of 8 players needed to run a regional qualifying round. Any players who enter an area with less than 8 once the closing date has passed will be given the opportunity to join another region or have their entry fee refunded.
National Qualifying Rounds
North Last 16 – 16 players to qualify from North West, North East, Yorkshire, East Midlands regions.
South Last 16 – 16 to players qualify from West Midlands, London/South East and South West regions.
Day 1 – Last 16 and Last 8 best of 9 frames. Day 2 – Semi-Finals best of 15 frames
North & South Finals and National Final to be played at the EASB Finals Weekend
North and South Finals best of 15 frames, Final best of 19 frames.
