Paige Stocker Handicap Charity Snooker Open 2019
September 14£5 – £15
On Saturday 14h September we are hosting our third charity snooker event to raise money for a great cause, Dravet Syndrome UK.
Dravet Syndrome is a rare and catastrophic epilepsy that affects 1 in 15,700 people. The reason that we are hosting this event is that Paige (the beautiful little girl in the picture) has been diagnosed with this condition and her father, Martin, is hoping to use this day to raise money for medical research into this rare condition; raising awareness in order to help other families with Dravet Syndrome.
Firstly, the main event will be a handicap snooker tournament starting at 10am. Entry will be £15 and all of the entry fees will go to support Dravet Syndrome UK. All juniors/under 18s will only have to pay £5 to enter. However, there will be prize money on offer with money coming from generous sponsors. The prize money will be…
Winner – £200
Runner Up – £100
Semis – £25
There will be loads of other games going on throughout the day as well, such as how quickly can you clear 10 reds, can you land the cue ball on a £10 note?
On top of this World Number 24, Jimmy Robertson will be making a guest appearance in the evening and will play some frames against some of you. Jimmy has kindly given up his time to come and support Paige and Dravet Syndrome UK.
